Daqing Petrochemical 100kt of alpha-olefin project

Daqing Petrochemical has built a new 100kt/a 1-hexene/1-octene cogeneration plant and the project's auxiliary supporting facilities such as storage and transportation systems, circulating water yards, and fire-fighting water stations.

Daqing Petrochemical combines self-developed 1-hexene/1-octene flexible production and metallocene catalyst preparation technologies to create a complete industry chain of ethylene-octene-POE elastomers, forming cost and technology advantages.

Daqing Petrochemical alpha-olefin 2023, PetroChina Daqing Petrochemical's POE pilot plant has hit the full production process. As early as August 30, 2021, Daqing Petrochemical Company built the first set of 3,000-ton 1-octene synthesis industrial pilot plant project as scheduled delivery. After the success of the industrial test, a complete set of 10,000-ton technology process package with independent intellectual property rights will be developed to fill the gaps in domestic 1-octene production technology.
