INTEGRAL HIGH Finned Tube
The Integral High Finned Tube is formed by heating and extruding a billet tube. The wall thickness of the billet tube is determined by the height of the fins. The fabrication process requires neither additional material nor complicated welding process for high frequency welded finned tubes. It has advantages of high production efficiency, low cost. In addition, the fin roots of the integral finned tube are formed as a small radius arc for smooth transition which helps a better heat transfer.
WHY USE FINNED TUBES
Long service life, more than three times than welded or wound type finned tubes.
The fin root has smooth arc, which completely eliminates the accumulation of ash, and slag which happens to other type of finned tubes at the fin root.
It is produced by hot rolling process, which improves the density, yield strength, tensile strength and wear resistance of metal structures.
The fins are spiral and formed from the tube itself, the loading capacity is three times higher than that of the bare tube with same wall thickness and inside diameter.
It is wear resistant and a good solution for the case of high convective heating surface of coal-fired boiler with high flue gas speed and high ash concentration.
No thermal contact resistance loss, the heat exchange efficiency is maximized due to the longitudinal section of the fin has a trapezoidal structure
The heat transfer coefficient is 3.5 to 5.5 times than the bare tubes or 2 times than the welded spiral finned tubes
Suitable for high temperature and severe operating cases, the heat transfer stability is much solid than other type finned tubes which insufficient contacts between fins and tube surface or fin falling off may happen.

PRODUCTION CAPACITY
Simcan has total Total three (3) Integral High Finned Tube finning lines, monthly production capacity is 450 tons in total.
FABRICATION PROCESS
The fins are rolled out from the wall of the tubes and hence are integral with the tube. As the fins are formed from the base tube by rolling out material from its wall, the wall thickness under the finned section is reduced compared to the wall thickness at plain ends. Thus, the tube thickness of unfinned section shall be machined down to the same as the finned section. These fin tubes can be manufactured from most tubular materials and the hardness of the material usually determines the finning code or fin profile. The tubes shall be heated up to a certain condition helps to eliminate the possibility of fin cracking.
APPLICAITONS
Simcan's integral finned tubes are generally used in petrochemical industry for high temperature and severe operating cases,especially for circulating fluidized bed boilers.

A:Each package is designed and made according to seaworthy packing standard and clients’ handling and lifting capability.
Finned tubes will be packed into steel frameworks and wrapped with weather proof PE film and plywood board covering up. In addition, each row of finned tubes will be isolated from adjacent with plywood bars to prevent rigid impact during transportation. For all exporting packages, we only use plywood instead of wood for fumigation free purpose.
