This is the construction site of 1.2 mt/a ethylene plant for the refining and chemical transformation and upgrading project of petrochina Jilin Petrochemical Company.
The total investment of Jilin Petrochemical transformation and upgrading project is 33.9 billion yuan, and the newly-built 1.2 mt/a ethylene plant is the key core device in the 28 sets of newly built and renovated (expanded) units of petro-china Jilin Petrochemical Refining and chemical transformation and upgrading. The CBL cracking technology and LECT separation technology independently developed by Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., LTD. It can produce 1.2 million tons of polymer-grade ethylene and 587,000 tons of polymer-grade propylene annually. After the plant is put into operation, the total ethylene production capacity of Jilin Petrochemical will reach 1.9 mt/a, and the ethylene production capacity and chemical scale will reach the domestic advanced level.
