Jiujiang Petrochemical gas separation Plant technical renovation project is located in Jiujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, invested by Jiujiang Branch of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Limited. The project investment amount is 253.042 million yuan.
The main construction contents of the project include depropane tower, deethane tower and two series of fine propylene tower, propylene refining solid alkali tower and dehydrating tower, as well as supporting low-temperature heat utilization and heat exchange system transformation and public engineering related processes, while supporting the new power distribution room and cabinet each. The technology transformation project of the gas separation unit is mainly based on the desulfurization liquefied gas refined from the liquefied gas products of the company's two sets of catalytic cracking units as raw materials, and adopts the conventional three-tower process with mature technology for separation, mainly producing 177kt/a of refined propylene. By-products are 0.47mt/a dry gas, 49.8kt/a propane, and 368.5kt/a mixed carbon IV. The refined propylene is mainly sent to the downstream polypropylene plant for further processing.
