The Integral Low Fin Tube Serrated Fins is a special-shaped Finned Tube that is processed by the external bare tube and is suitable for use as a heat transfer element of a horizontal shell-and-tube condenser.

Compared with the common low-ribbed pipe,the structural characteristics of the pipe are: the fins are dense,the fin pitch can be as small as 0.5mm, and the outer edge of the fin has zigzag notches.The sides of the piece are rough rather than smooth,which is different to the low-ribbed pipe.The Serrated finned tube is a new type of surface discharge heat transfer tube which is manufactured by studying the mechanism of condensation heat transfer. According to the single tube test, R l I and R 1 3 are the condensing medium under the same temperature difference, and the condensation heat coefficient is 10-20 times of the smooth tube and 1.5-2 times that of the low rib tube.

The strengthening mechanical principle:

1. Due to the smaller fin pitch, the condensate tension coefficient is increased, so that the condensate is easily introduced into the narrow groove between the fins, and the condensate can be discharged faster, thereby enabling the tube only a thin film is left on each of the fin ridges, and the fin tip is quickly exposed and condensed by steam.

2. Due to the staggered teeth in the condensate flow path, and the roughness of the side of the fin turbulent the flow state of the condensate, so that the condensate is in the pulsating flow, thereby enhancing the convective heat transfer in the condensate film.

Based on the nowadays fabrication capability, this high-efficiency heat transfer tube can be processed on copper and aluminum blank tubes. The diameter of the blank tube O.D. is φ12 to 25.4 mm, and the outer diameter of the Fin Tube is increased by 1.4mm after processing. The length of the smooth end of the fin tube as per drawing, fabrication cost is as low as ribbed tubes. This type of Integral Fin Tube is one of the most efficient heat transfer tubes currently considered to be used in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
