Variable Spring Hanger

Introduction

Variable Air Spring Coils are a type of suspension system used in heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers. They consist of a rubber airbag that is inflated with compressed air to provide support and cushioning to the vehicle. The airbag is connected to a series of coils that can be adjusted to change the height and stiffness of the suspension. This allows the driver to adjust the ride height and improve the handling and stability of the vehicle. Variable Air Spring Coils are commonly used in commercial vehicles because they can handle heavy loads and provide a comfortable ride even on rough roads.

Type B Variable Spring Hanger is connected via single lifting ear lug on the top of the spring hanger.

Selection of Variable Spring Hanger is mainly based on the installation requirement, such as the direction of movement and installation space. If spring load rate is more than 25%, it should reduce the spring stiffness, choose larger displacement range.
